i suggest you request the dealer NOT to wash it for you. my dealer put a whole mess of swirls on mine. took me hours of work with a porter cable to get most of them out.

i can do that, but then it was kinda dirty. it rained today too! i'm also pretty new to black cars, and i don't know how to properly wash / wax a car...

I mean I have to go to a car wash (either auto or myself) to clean the car anyhow.

you'll regret it later if you have the auto machine wash it or anyone else wash it for you...

especially since it's black!

so are you saying, i should get it unwashed

then take it to those washing places and soap it up with the high soap thing and then rinse it out and then use a microfiber cloth to wipe it dry?

yes. only use quality materials on a black car. get a sheepskin wash mitt and a microfiber drying towel, and you'll be fine. they've got some serious animals at the dealer that dont know the first thing about caring for paint finishes.

You'll become an expert in no time with a black car. They look sharp when clean and waxed up, and you'll soon learn all the tricks to keep it that way.

Congrats!
