Hi all,
Been lurking for a few days - nice forum. Here's the first post.
I took delivery of my '07 G35x on January 25th (Diamond Graphite/Stone/PP) and have yet to wipe the grin off my face. The snow deity has cooperated and given me lots of low-traction roads so I can exploit the new-found traction.
The factory tires (Goodyear RS-A) are a bit outmached on snow though (stopping and steering), previous car ran Nokian RSi winters. Thanks to VDC I've been able to keep if off the curb so far.
Coming from a BMW M5 with RWD, AWD's a blast on low traction surfaces. It's my first automatic since 1986 - I miss the stick a bit, but the AWD definitely outweighs the loss.
Cheers,
Anthony

Yeah, holla GWN! We are the COOLEST!
. yeah, we got an X as well. Handles GREAT in the snow! Alot better than our previous RWD car, a 2003 Mercedes Benz C320.
A big Congratulations Anthony. Most of us can understand the permanent grin
.
And welcome to the site, you will find lots of info on the 07 Sedan section on the site.
You mentioned the RS-As , I agree they are not much good in the snow. Another set of Nokians, Blizzaks or other good snow tire will impress you even more with your new X.

Great choice for this climate.....
Once you get the X shod with winters, you won't believe the traction. It's apparantly amazing in all weather conditions.
Stop in at our Forum: https://g35driver.com/forums/canada-36/ and introduce yourself to more fellow Canucks..
Glad to have you along, Anthony.
