Sedan Loaner

I was loaned an 07 sedan today for a day while my car is getting the Bose stereo changed and also the sunroof getting lubed (all under warranty). I must say, it has a nice quick to it! But I wonder what it would do at the track... I'd be comparing it with my modded Coupe times.

Should I take it to the track to see?

Did you read the fine print on the paper you signed at the dealer's when they loaned you the car? Make sure you're properly insured if you're going to take the loaner to the track (and I doubt the dealer would want you to).

It depends. What does your car run at the track now, and what are the details on your car(mods, year, tranny)?

Best time at LACR (2700 altitude) was a 14.662.

Mod List:

MREV2
5/16th spacer
JWT clutch
JWT flywheel
HKS exhaust
pop charger
z-tube

and I have an 05 6mt coupe.

I'm setting up a track meet as I type lol I texted a bunch of fellow track regulars and half of them are a go already!

Looks like I'll be posting the results later today if not by tomorrow.

I'll skip on the donuts. I'll stick to burn-outs in the waterbox though.

and the chatter is freaking loud!!!!!! Though I could careless, it doesn't bug me a bit!

the track is not a very good track due to a high altitude.

Going off of LACR's track, my Altitude correction time would be 14.222. I've only seen a slightly modded Z do better times than I have. (well I've seen better, but the Z is the only one that I can compare the G to)

My best in the 07 was a 14.60 and my bros best was a 14.576 @ 94.528MPH.

Keep in mind that those times are in a 2700ft elevation.

My best with my 05 6MT on the same track has been a 14.662.

dumb question but to confirm, the loaner was auto correct?

if it was auto,
do any of those manual auto shift modes matter in the straight?

when that g37 comes out, we're gonna need more than bolt ons to get ahead

It is enough to rob some power from a sea level run...
