Picked up my new special order IP G35S 6MT yesterday!!!

New car, new member. I special ordered my Ivory Pearl G35S 6MT 4 months ago, since no dealer had it the way I wanted. NO sunroof, NO Premium, NO Tech, NO Navigation, NO Bose SOW, NO touchscreen, NO 4WAS, NO heated seats, NO power steering wheel, NO homelink compass rearview mirror, NO rearview camera, NO spoiler, NO splashgaurds, NO hard drive, NO adaptive headlights, NO Sat Radio, NO roof fin, well, y'all get the point...

Just 306hp, some seats, and a 6 speed. Leather seats unfortunately (I have factory cloth in my non-sunroof FX35), but you can't (not) have everything.

Things arriving on Friday: Stillen Cat Back Exhaust, Stillen Dual Cold-Air Intakes, Bel 975R remote radar/laser to be stealth installed in the ashtray. I'll post pics after the install. Glad to be a part of g35driver!

yeah, that's the plan. when i ordered my car, i called vortech and ati to see if they had a supercharger for the HR yet. No such luck (was going to roll that extra $7-8K into my payment!). For now, the better breathing will have to do.

in closing, i have no idea what the hell this is, but i'm posting it anyway:

Thanks. I'm not the only one around here by any means but I think most of those are taken as well. I will say though that a few of them have met their SO at car meets so you may be in luck - assuming you are single as well.

nope, married. my wife actually drives the IP RWD FX35. but she's a cool one, i'll be updating her ride w/the smoke tails, 20" gunmetal factory sport rims, rear sway bar (only factory on the AWD), H&R drop w/spacers, stillen exhaust/CAI, and plenum. she's all about it!

As a former horsepower nut, I don't suggest going the SC route. Turbo is the only way to go!

noted. totally open to that idea, but darned if you don't pay for quality - $11K (at least) for a JWT tt setup. blowoff valves would sound pretty sick tho!

windows getting limo tinted 2morrow, once the air flow stuff's installed, pic will be up!

Man, you are just like me.

I was just like you, didn't want anything (the car is fine the way it is). But I also made it clear that I did NOT want a demo or one that has been test driven.

The closest one to me was in Delaware (I'm in MA) and I had to get the premium package. The one that I was gonna get, with totally nothing, was a demo with miles on it.

A turbo setup will give you twice the bang for your buck, hence the price. SC's are horsepower robbers and are very hard on your internals.

Plus with a turbo setup you can adjust boost levels on the fly
