New owner from the Caribbean
Hi all. I live in Barbados, and we drive on the left..... so no Infiniti here! I just sold my R32 Nissan Skyline and got a V35 Nissan Skyline 250GT, which is the same as the Infiniti G35 sedan, with a 2.5 litre V6 (VQ25) motor. Big change from my R32 5-speed turbo (rubber in the first 3 gears, and drifted at half throttle ) to this, but it's a fantastic car. I have a few issues with it (some insect stole the control unit for the Bose stereo and the A/C, so I have one on order) but it's great otherwise - leather/suede seats, wood trim, momo steering wheel, power seats, power tilt/fold mirrors (tilt down when you go into reverse, and fold when you hit the lock button on the remote). When I get time I'll put up some pics.
You have a nice forum here!

Sorry, my bad - the Caribbean is where I live, not the colour! The car's actually Desert Platinum, I think. Light brown/beige leather interior.
The engine is hidden under the cover, but hopefully this weekend I'll borrow my daughter's camera (hers is better than mine) and take some shots.
I sold the Skyline because it was 17 years old (I used to joke that it was old enough to get a license and drive itself!) I loved it and it was in great shape but it was time to move on - before I killed myself in it! In second gear that car was untouchable....

Some pics:
It has about 26k kms on it (maybe 18,000 miles). Not too bad. A few issues - the missing badge on the grille, a few other missing parts behind the bumper, which the seller has committed to getting, and signed a contract to that effect, plus the radio/air con system controller thingy that was stolen, but overall a great car.
Here's a link to a vid of the old R32 at a local autocross. I was behind the camera, a local hotshoe was driving. Sorry about the crappy video quality

I want that steering wheel (in all black ideally). Congrats on the new whip. I just got mine (G35) and It's the best "had to grow up a little" car I can imagine. How common are the 250GT's on your island? I can only imagine the kind of attention a car like that gets you in an area where the sales were limited. Is it an '03? Only the '03's had that style trunk in the US.
