Thanks for the comments

205GTs are the more common around here - we have a total car population of around 80,000 of which there are probably 20 250GT Skylines, maybe 5 300GT Skylines (VQ30DD, I think) and a couple 350GTs (the coupe). There are maybe 6 total 350Z's around as well. Pretty rare cars.

It's an 03 model (is the trunk what I see called a "doggy door" style? ) It certainly makes people who have never spoken to me suddenly have lots of chat (usually female - wifey might not be happy about that! )

Yes, they call it a doggy door! Only the G35 sedans from the first half of 2003 had that style. Halfway through the production cycle they revised the trunk and removed the "door."

The wood on the steering wheel looks like Birdseye Maple, which is a rare and pricy wood.

So what's the most expensive car you've seen on Barbados? Any Lambo's or Ferrari's?

Most expensive is probably a Bentley Turbo R (90's vintage, but it was new when I first saw it). There are a couple of Bentley Arnages, but the only Lambo is a kit car A few Porsche 911s pretty much round it out. The problem is that our car import restrictions are phenomenal - any car has to be under 4 years old and less than 50,000kms to be imported. Import tax on cars under 1600cc is 150% and on over 1600cc is 200%. So a new Infiniti G37 for $36 grand would actually cost me $110 grand - Aston Martin territory! Hence why there are no Lambos - you'd probably have to pay half a million for the lowest model

Man! Haven't been back here in years! Sold my car about 3 years ago and bought a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. Nice car, NA version, somewhat slow...

A few weeks ago I came across a deal I couldn't miss, so I now own a 2003 350Z Track. So I'm back in the VQ fraternity

FYI this forum is waaaaaayy better than http://my350z.com/forum/. Think they sniff their own exhaust gas over there...

I see the dumbasses are never too far away.

FYI, thanks to our ridiculous import duties that new Veloster cost more than a base Q50 ($38k). It was that or a similarly priced Corolla or Mazda 2.

Also FYI, a new Q50 if I could get one here, would cost around $150k, more than you would pay for a GTR.

So **** off smartly and eat my 350Z dust.
