another new guy

heard about this board from another message board I frequent. seems alright so far from my week or so of lurking. anyhow I'm from the sacramento area and a couple weeks ago I bought an 04 Diamond Graphite G35 coupe 6mt with nav and of course the brembos.. so far I love the car even though it wastes just as much gas as my truck. I look forward to gaining some new information on my recent purchase. as of right now, I have no huge plans of modding the car, but I said the same about the truck when I bought that.. now the G35 might end up being DD for the truck.

might as well add a quick pic of the car and my truck:

Boy, that's an understatement! I caught the bug and I just ordered my first EVER clear corners for my Baby G and I'm going to install it thanks to Cal! I caught the bug because of you guys Now I'm going to get my car tinted... and who knows where I'll go from here. You know, I never modified any of my cars until I joined this board.

Welcome to the board Deftronix!!!

P.S. nice G!

ha, lucky for me the horsepower bug bit me right before I bought it.. and I have zero intentions of modding a motor with 22k on the clock.. now, if I keep my truck it's tired 150k mile motor will get replaced with a built and boosted one.

the most I'll do to this car is probably change the headlight bulbs, lower it a little(fender gaps are not my friend, even with the sport suspension its too high), and wheels in the distant future.. the motor in the G is far too low mileage and expensive to mod.. plus its fun to drive as is.

Hahaha...dont look now, you are already on your way to TT set up, thats how most of "them" starts, from thinking about it to clear corner to springs to spacers to new rims and next thing you know? they are talking about twin turbo with builted internals...

haha, I doubt it... with the mpg this thing gets, last thing I'm thinking about is modding the motor

besides a built turbo setup is for my truck, the G is fine the way it is(minus the fender well gaps).
