Worth the wait!!

After much research and some shifting of funds to get the scratch together to make a cash purchase we finally got our Slate Blue w/ Stone Leather G35Journey w/ Sunroof & 18" wheel pack. I thoroughly researched everything comparable, and we just kept coming back to the G The TL was very nice but in no way is the performance car that the G is. The IS 350 was the closest car IMO, the back seat is way too tight for anyone over 15 on long trips and I didn't want to lose any friends due to this purchase, LOL. It's also about 3G more for similar features, as much as I like the "class" of the IS interior, the G just felt right for a sport sedan~a bit more understated, but I really like it. The BMW 335 would be great if I hit the lottery, but feature for feature the G wins hands down for the price. Just can't take my eyes off the car, and it's just too easy to think of the slightest excuses to go for a drive~good thing I've got a stack of gas cards, lol.
Thanks for providing a great G35 forum, and I'm thrilled to be part of such a group of auto enthusiasts!

Congrats!

I looked at the same cars as you did and pretty much came to the same conclusions. Bought my G35x on the weekend and pick it up this week.

Congrats man, and welcome to the forum. The G sure is a hard car to beat for the price when compared to its competitors. Great choice.
