Help Me buy my 07/08 G35

Looking purchase 07 or 08 depending on pricing. I would prefer the 08 if the price is close.

Journey or AWD w/Premium and Nav, in Slate Blue.

I am in Oklahoma City, and willing to travel a few 100 miles to save some money. I have an email into Grubbs to find out about their military discount?

I could alway use the support of others with buying options in my region, and/or available discounts.

I have outstanding credit, and currently have 5.0 at 72 months as an online option, via my bank.

Was anyone surprised with the cost of insurance? I have yet to research that.

Thanks All

72 months is a long *** time... even at 5%

You'll have the same issue in OKC as I have in Kansas City... no dealer competition. Try Wichita or Dallas (both outside 100 miles) for price comparisons. I'd look to get at least $1,500 off MSRP on a 2008. 4%+ is usually the standard for price negotiation based on Edmunds.com.

The 5.0 finance percentage is available up to 72 months (48-72 month) to be exact. Personally in looking at 60 months.

I am currently emailing with Grubbs (in dallas) due to the high number of availabe vehicles. It's worth the travel to know I worked the best deal, if nothing more than personal satifaction.

To be honest, I would buy the 08 journey premium pac but not the nav. how often are you going to use the nav system. I think if you go to dallas you could get good deals for the 07 though.

Well let me know what you get at either Grubbs or Sewell.

I was dealing w/ a guy I knew from college at Sewell and the best he could offer on an '08 was $1,500 off.

I was looking for a silver 6MT car though, which has been slightly difficult to get ahold of and not really stocked on dealer lots around the midwest.

I plan to wait till January, then look for 07 deals if I can't find 10% off MSRP prior to that.

Good luck... I didn't have that option w/ the type of car I wanted, but i'm sure there will be some deals to be had on the leftovers.
