Greetings all,
I've been lurking as a guest for the past few months and have finally joined the family. The past Saturday I picked up my 2008 G35S 6MT in Blue Slate with Stone interior. Quite a nice ride, but as others have stated I just can't wait to get through the break-in period.

Hope to be a productive, contributing member for some time to come. Attached is a lone pic - please note that it is dirty from the ride home. Where do all those bugs come from?

Always great to welcome those from NC since I'm from there. I'm a Tarheel fan myself but my brother works at Duke medical center so we butt heads.

United we stand
TheIvoryG - Naw, not a Duke-ey. I bleed Wolfpack Red.
KDG35 - Looks like we probably end up butting heads as well...

But either way we've all got at least a couple of things in common - 1) the G's and 2) not-Duke.

Yes...NCSU
Great to see some NC'ers!

Would it not be great to get a group together to show off our G's. I am always envious of the California clans.

Welcome from a fellow North Carolina G owner.

I'm with you Ann's. I live in the western part of the state and have been thinking about trying to organize a Great Smoky Mountains G drive.

I'd love to...but I'm one of those from California. Just a die hard Tarheel fan that happens to be 3000 miles away.

We're going to have an undefeated basketball team this year by the way.hehe

GO HEELS!

You should definitely consider getting some 3M paint protection film for your bumper and hood.

Woltig, nice ride and welcome.

5th,
A tail of the dragon run would be awesome! I would be interested in that for sure.

Forgive my belated response...What would be a Great Smokey Mountains G Ride be, (your thoughts on what you would see happening).

Basically just a bunch of G owners getting together to drive some of the awesome roads in this part of the state. There are a lot of possibilities but an example might go like this:

> Use Asheville as home base.
> Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway stopping at several of the scenic overlooks.
> Everyone have lunch (maybe at the Pisgah Inn on the parkway).
> Return to Asheville.

Or like Shawn said drive up through the Nantahala Gorge area and do a Tail of the Dragon run. The possibilities really are endless.
