Just picked up an 05 OB 6mt, now obsessed : )

As the title says, just grabbed an 05 Obsidian Black (right?) 6mt. Been looking at the g for 5 years now and now i'm finally able to call one my own. Came with factory 19's chromed so no new wheels just yet, but the z-tube is on the way, got a k&n drop in sitting up front right now, and looking at some overlays or black 06 headlights soon. Oh, and of course a 5/16 spacer and mrev2 plenum when winter is over... excited to say the least.

hope this pic host works:

Thanks Beebo

No exhaust plans yet, but thats only b/c i haven't heard all of the major exhausts out there. I haven't really seen any modded g's in the area and i'd really like to hear some of the setups to see what i like... and to judge just how far away the police will have to be before i can stomp on it (passport 8500 x50 ftw).

TBH i'm just happy to finally hear an exhaust note thats pretty orchestral. Previously i owned a 94 altima and a 01 civic ex; so i'm going from zero speed/performance to +++ speed, performance, style, sound, lux, options, etc, etc.

From what i can tell there's a good number of 6mts and such in texas, pretty good group of g-owners down there? May have to roll down if there's ever a big event...

Edit: Beebo i just read your exhaust post in the coupe section about keeping the sexy stock sound, got any idea where i might be able to get an earful of these exhausts? And what kind of exhaust are you running?

Everytime i turn that key and hear the thing wake up i get excited. I don't know if i will ever get complacent with this thing, its like a dream car. Got any pics of your car up here? If so, where do i go to find them/can i search by username? I'm not in to copying but i'm always up for some inspiration and new ideas. Oh, and if you took your avatar picture personally - i'm jealous of your car and where you hang out .

Is Crawford typically the way to go as far as HF cats? Or is there a pretty ample market to peruse? (just let me know if this is a precursor for a exhaust thread) And of course i've got to ask about +hp/+tq if you know it off the top of your head.

+1 to that thread, i was wondering if one existed... probably should've searched for that first instead of just hoping to stumble upon black 6mt's in the pics gallery.

And if chicks like that are abound in miami, i'm scheduling a trip. I'll just have to wait until i throw some stuff on the g so it can be a long distance attn *****... i'll do the rest when they ask for a ride
