Hey skyline, how much of a drop are you thinking and from what brand? I need to drop mine too so it doesn't look 4wd anymore. Post pics up after you de-badge because i need to see some freshly de-badged pics AND we wanna see some pics of your ride.
Do it...
...Do it....
......DO IT...
im lookin into some coilovers but im undecided with the brand... i like the rear end slightly higher 1/2 inch to an inch than the front so wer lookin at 2' 1/2" front and 2' rear... def gonna get the camber kit bro tires aint cheap with these big A$$ wheels lol, just ordered my Skyline 350 badge ill keep you posted! here's a link for the camber correction kit > https://g35driver.com/forums/suspension-vendor/125222-spc-front-rear-camber-kit-unreal-deal-save-your-tires.html

Skyline, i kept hearing about the camber kit but wasn't quite sure how necessary it was - i probably wouldn't have found out until just before i ordered my coilovers so i'm glad you cleared that up, looks like its a definite purchase. And no ****! These tires are crazy expensive, AND YOU CAN'T ROTATE!... haha, worst of both worlds. Except for the fact that they're able to grip and go fast.
Have you seen any g's on here with that staggered stance? I like how we sit now but thats a solid idea of having the front lowered a tad, i'd like to see what that looks like if its been done before. Sounds like you're going to have one heck of a head-turns-so-fast-to-stare-at-how-sweet-your-car-looks-that-it-gets-a-cramp g.

it's minez... but i had a very small amount of paint on two of the letters come off when i was debadging: hardly noticeable unless you look close, but i know it's there so it kills me!! i was impatient and didn't use HEAT to soften the gooey adhesive so you may wanna do that by use of a heat gun or blow dryer, then use some floss to remove the letters and/ or badges and then goo gone to remove whatever adhesive you have left...

wow... i DEFINATELY need a camber kit... and some spacers!!

Nice! Thanks for the DIY .
Question: i know what the camber kit will do but what do the spacers do? Do they extend the wheel further away from the axle, away from the car? Or what?
Thanks again!

if you notice the wheels are tucked far inside the fenders the spacers will push them out more to line the wheel up with the fenders...

yup its a def purchase, but im still debating with the spacers what size to get coz lets say i lowered the car with the camber kit, spacers installed and the camber angle set to factory spec, you think it'll rub...if it does then im gonna have to get the fenders rolled, lol too much isht ! so are you debadging or rebadging ?

I need to do that, especially when summer rolls around. I'm guessing there's a supportive market of g-drivers in the dfw area considering there's a dfw g-driver club... if only oklahoma had that level of interest/economy/non-wife beating population...

where at in OKC? i don't see too many G's out here. maybe i've seen you around.

Haha, thanks! I'll be honest, the car is amazing fun... except when you get by semi-truck tread.

Bigd2k6, i live in southwest okc, about 5 miles south of will rogers by westmoore high school kinda. Where are you in edmond? I'm up there on rare occasions but i stick my face up north by nw expwy, penn sq, and the area around there quite a bit. I'd def be down for a little okc meet-and-greet sometime; it seems that a lot of the other states have dozens of owners that meet... poor oklahoma.

Oh, and for the latest news on the new (nearly a month old ) g, click here: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/187445-hit-semi.html
