I agree. I owned an 05 350Z Touring before the Evo. I loved the Z, but needed four doors. I was about to buy the G35 Coupe, but then I caved in to my desires to own an Evo. Now that I own it, I have realized two things: (1) the car is a serious performance vehicle and (2) the Mitsubishi dealer in Tucson, AZ sucks!! I cannot own a Mitsubishi so long as I live in Tucson...bummer. Oh well, looks like I will happily switch to the car I originally wanted, the G35 Coupe.

Hopefully it works out. the G won't be as fun as the evo, that's for sure, but u'll definitely feel better in it.

 

I agree. The G fits my lifestyle/image better too. People (especially coworkers) draw conclusions about others based on the vehicle they drive. I do not believe the Evo accurately represents me and who I am.The G Coupe is perfect.

i was going to get a evo MR before my g.... but the mitsubishi dealer sucked, they wouldnt let me test drive the new ones cuz "they didnt want to put miles on them" so they made me test drive a 03 or some crap from that point i knew i didnt want a evo. was gonna get a 350z but they didnt have the one i wanted then i found the G... love it glad i got it.

...which is why I bought the Evo. Now that I own it and have had experience interacting with the local Mitsu dealership, I realized that I can never own a Mitsu so long as I live here. I agree with you Turk, but I do believe the G Coupe better reflects my style is all.

Well, the deal did not go through. We were far enough apart on the figures to walk out. Looks I will keep trying to sell the Evo or the Infinity dealer may call back with a counter offer.

Update - Sold the Evo, so I will be G hunting in about 1 week!!
