Picked up my new '08 g35xs yesterday and I still can't get the grin off my face.

Platinum Graphite / Stone with Premium and Sport packages.

I've been looking for 6 month, waiting for the Sport pkg to become available with AWD. Finally test drove it last Friday and took a week to run the decision past the "finance committee". Walked into the local dealer this past friday to make the deal and picked the car up the next day. Paid dealer invoice for the car but also the stupid "Doc Fee". Would have paid more but I guess the dealer was in the mood to move the car. I took it right off the showroom floor. Financed 100% through IFS at 2.9%, so I drove out without any upfront costs. Yes, the payment will be brutal but I still have all my cash to invest. An amazing car for $35k.

I know what you mean. I picked mine up last Monday, and am still grinning. I haven't liked a new car as much in many years, and I've bought many new cars. I also like your color choice, which was among my top choices.

You got a great price. The only thing I did differently was went for Premium, Nav, and Tech, but not Sport. I would have gotten Sport, too, because I like the extra bolsters and the bigger wheels, but I had back surgery recently. As a result, I needed the slightly gentler ride of the non-sport seats, which are easier to climb into. But, regardless of options, the G35x makes me grin.
