N00b convert

Just wanted to say HI and introduct myself on the forums. My name is Larry & I live in Phoenix, AZ. I just picked up my new, 07 G35S sedan last Saturday. Bought it from Infiniti of Scottsdale w/22 miles on it.

I'm a GM convert, having owned 2 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28s & most recently a very heavily modded 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. My son was born 6 months ago so it was time to do a little "growing up" & making the choice to purchase something a little more practical.

Originally planned on picking up a G37, but again, with a child it was a challenge to get him in/out of the coupe @ the dealership, so the sedan it was. I've put 600+ miles on the car in a week, and I must say, its a extremely well-built, and very comfortable car. Still trying to figure out how to work half the options on the interior of the car!

Only things I'm looking to do to the car are an intake and eventually a full exhaust system & some black wheels.

Anyhow, thats my intro! Here are some pics of the car as well...

There were no g8's in my area when I was looking. However, every dealership in Phoenix told me that the g8's were in "high demand" & I'd be looking at paying a minimum of 5k over sticker.

I wouldn't pay five grand over sticker for any car, let alone a Pontiac.
