thanks alot for all the warm welcome everyone! can't remember if i metioned before but i work for an infiniti/nissan dealership(technician apprentice) so i get to drive g's every day lol. it's kinda funny seeing how my dad is so **** about the car haha. we've already had our share of problems with it. the car came in with a paint chip on the hood. we ended up getting some touch up paint(can't see it anymore) and the dealership is paying for the entire 3M. there was a tonne of micro marring in the paint, fixed that with my detail job today(used to be an automotive detailer) and there are chips and scraps on all four rims, we're going to have them warranty them and get us a new set. this is the third vehicle we've purchased from this dealership(which is the same one i work at) and non of them have come in flawless... it's just our luck i guess. i'm just glad i know how to make them look good again.

personally, i love the g37's. hopefully once i'm finished my apprenticeship i will find a nice used one and trade or sell my kompressor benz. the g37 sports with the 6 speed are my nightly fantasy haha.

and soo excited to one one of only 6 or 7 GE g's in the city. it truely is a rare color and absolutely gorgeous in the sun!

i'll post more pictures once the snow melts away and i receive my ultima paint care kit.

 

btw, i wish that rwd was available with the automatic transmission but honestly, the awd makes the G a wicked all season performer!

You can't get a RWD G35S equipped with a 5AT in Canada for 08. I recently found this out myself. If you want the Sport package in a 5AT, you need to get a G35xS in Canada.

 

I definitely agree. It looks pretty damn hot in the shade or at night, as I find it takes on a completely different shade of red. Congrats again on the purchase and be sure to visit our Canadian regional section as well.

 

Wow that is a surprise to me too. Thanks for the info Shane, looks like you folks with the 07 auto RWD Sports now own a rare model in Canada.

 

Kind of an odd decision by Infiniti IMO. Since my car is a rare model now, I wonder if it will increase in value? lol.

 

it's kind of a bummer but it makes sense to have awd especially in alberta. i can't wait to surpass the breakin period. i really want to feel how this car goes through the twisties in Ds mode! ahh how i love downshift rev matching i'll post pics once we have the tint put on. expect some either wednesday or thursday.

 

It only takes a few days to get the break in complete, then you will have a blast .

Oh well, i still dont get you Shane. Rockin a RWD G up in Canada, with snow, AND having it be your only car

When I bought my car the dealer asked if I'd like a spoiler added on mine.

For some reason I hate the factory spoiler, it ruins the flow of the car...I went with an aftermarket lip spoiler. The factory spoiler certainly makes them standout though, to each his own.

alright so far mods complete:

23% tint all windows
- pulled up beside a cop yesterday and he had his window open while we had all of ours closed with the illegal tint. the cop could stop starrin at the G and didn't care about the windows. we he drove away he actually looked back and did a double take of the car. pretty funny. the red is def an eye catcher.

full front end 3m, having 3m installed on the side sills and in the corners of the rear pass doors also next week.

aftermarket OEM style sport raised spoiler, perfect color match which was the biggest worry of mine since the red is a pearl paint. it's a better color match than the factory painted front and rear bumpers!

parts on order:

bats gtr 6/10's tail light tints and rear lower valance overlay(roof overlay will be done this summer)
