New owner. Traction question
Hey folks.
So I got 06 coupe from Ohio on the 7th and was driving it to Canada in that hurrendous snow storm. What I have noticed was when i slowed down to below 40km it was fricking impossible to speed up. The tires are all season but the thread is good. SLIP light went on but the car just wasnt accelerating even when I was gently pressing the pedal. It was moving but just didn't seem like a 40k$ (i didn't pay 40k) car would behave like that. Do you think there is a problem with my traction control or is the car just too much of a beast and cant handle snow/slush?
Thanks!

Doesn't matter what kind of car you drive or how much it costs, but RWD + All-season tires + bad snow storm = You're not going anywhere fast. For example, a friend of mine has a RWD BMW 325 with all-seasons, and he's ready to get rid of it for a FWD car because our winter has been brutal and he's been sliding all over the place. He refuses to get snow tires. My RWD with snow tires handled this winter pretty well, and another friend with a BMW 325 wagon with snow tires also handled this winter very well. It's all in the tires....
