Not G owner, but......
Hello everyone, I'm LJ. I actually own a '94 300ZX, but the reason I am lurking your forum here is that I am the president of the Oklahoma Z Car Club in Oklahoma City and I am looking to expand our events/membership to G-coupe owners.
This year we have taken on huge steps to dramatically change the atmoshpere in the club to be much more event-centric. It was obvious to me that to leave out Infiniti enthusiasts would be just silly since the cars are rolled off the same assembly line.
I plan to make announcements here to let all the OKC G guys (and gals!) know what events we have upcoming. As of right now, we already have a couple of G owners dropping by, but we look forward to bringing in even more in the immediate future.
Pop into our site www.okzcc.com and check out the "Upcoming Events" message board for details concerning 2 dragstrip events, 3 roadcourse events, the Midwest Z Fest (which will include a day at Hallett) at a fantastic venue in Tulsa, amongst plenty of other random get-togethers, cruises, and rallies. There are at least one or two events each month, and if you don't mind a cruise up to Tulsa, sometimes as many as three or four per month! We aren't equipped yet to host/judge a G-coupe-class in our car shows (and frankly many 350 owners don't want to have to compete with them
but you didn't hear that from me) but we encourage G's to make their presence known and if any well-versed G owner wishes to head up that department, it shall be done!
Anyways, that's my intro, hope to see some of our Infiniti counter-parts at the events/meets!
