I can't say anything except it is amazing, wife and I were out this weekend and decided to stop by Carmax so she could test drive a Acura TSX and TL. I was like sure whatever, we aren't getting it until we close on the house. Well we get to Carmax and they have her car on the lot, and low and behold they have an 08 G35X on the lot. I figure we are here might as well try it out, I have always known I wanted one but never got behind the wheel. In all fairness to her we test drove her car first nice it is an Acura, then we took the G out... WHEW it is NICE the exhaust sounded so strong and upset almost for not being driven faster than 10 through the parking lot. It has AMAZING pick up from just touching the pedal, I didn't really open her out since the sales guy was kind of ****, but it was a quick touch to get to 50. I am sold on the car because it is definitely a work of art, my only complaint is does anyone know the status of the 3.7l engine I am hearing about in the sedan. I thought that it was supposed to be in the 09 model, which is why I am still holding out and not getting it the same time the wife get's her car. Amazing piece of machinery I must say.

IMHO I say wait. 7 speed will be invaluable if you spend a lot of time in the near triple digit range on long drives.
