Hello Everyone,

I was an active member of G35Driver back when I had my G35 Coupe; I loved it. Switched to a BMW 335i Convertible, and missed the G. Decided, I wanted the G so, traded in the 335i for a G. Two pics of my old G and my new G.

Let me know what you guys think!

Hello Everyone,

Well, besides the $400 more a month for a BMW, they both have their "UPS" and "Downs". The BMW does not have the annoying "Can only use Navi in standstill mode", and it does have Sirius, which is a huge issue between my choices. The 335i is slightly quicker ( especially with the chip I had on it for the turbo's). The G37 has other positives, for example, rear view camera, 4ws, Tech package, comfort, payment, style, RELIABILITY (My bmw was in th e dealership service atleast half the time of me owning it. The engine blew, and I don't do much spirited driving, its basically highway driving every single weekday). The computer went out, the vert top was making weird noises... overall, VERY VERY UNRELIABLE. Both really nice drives, but after driving both, I feel much happier and more comfortable in the G37. Anyways, I found a pic on my phone which I uploaded to my comp - This is the day the engine blew and it was about to be towed. Someone is going to ask, so heres my answer - I was driving hear a weird noise coming from the turbo's (This was BEFORE the chip was on it.. the chip went on the new motor), the turbos made a PSHHCHA CHKA CHKA noise, so i pull over, and smoke comes from engine. Next thing? Blown, faulty turbos, the block cracked.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing them, I just think they should have experimented a bit more in europe before bringing the vehicle to U.S. If it was my choice, (And money was not the issue), I would have opted for the new M3.

Well enough junk talk.

What mods should I do to my G37? Nothing crazy to the engine fellas, its a lease. I already got Bluebats overlays ordered.

Oh yeah, almost forgot :

Well since I'm getting my Top Secret lip kit next week, you should go for the JP USA lip kit that is pictured below. It comes with the front lip and sides attached to the factory side skirts. This with some wheels and lowered should set your G37 off very well.

I too came from a German car and got sick of the repairs. It's nice having a reliable Japanese car without $130/hr shop costs!
