New Owner 07 PG

What's up guys? Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the abundance of info on this forum. I'd been lurking for quite a while why I was trying to sell my modded VW GLI as I was looking for the exact car I wanted to replace it with.

I was able to land a 07 PG Journey Sedan with Tech, Nav and the Sport Wheels with 20K miles for $25.5 from a private party. Feel like I practically stole it.

I've had the car a little over a week. Amazing car. Took it for a road trip last week to So Cal for vacation, picked up a set of G37 wheels down there, got home and made some bumper plugs, debadged and had the tint done yesterday. Trying to keep it classy at my old age, but I'm tempted to go with Magnaflows and possibly some Z springs for a mild drop.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you're off and running with mods after only a week. Got any pics of your car?

Sounds like a great buy. I know I don't have to say it, but enjoy the car!

Congrats on the ride!

Do some research on the Z springs, I think that was only for the first generation car.

I'll have to look into that more. Actually I have some G37 sport springs in the garage that I may give a try but I don't know if it will be enough of a drop. Been searching and searching and can't find anyone that has tried it yet or compared the G37 coupe springs to the old ones. The guy I bought the wheels from was nice enough to throw in the springs, sways and control arms from his G37.

Damn that looks really good with the G37 wheels... with a drop it's going to look sick!
