2005 G35x Serengeti Sand

Picked it up from a local GM dealer! Apparently it came off lease, and they purchased it from an auto auction in Ontario. 84,000 kms. Love it.

We're located in Saskatchewan and we had a frost warning last night, so that means it's time to start tracking down and getting a block heater, remote starter, and winter tires. Sigh...

Congratulations on your new G. Nice colour. You have a great car , with a set of good snows your X will be a riot to drive. I had an 05X and loved it.

If your G came from Ontario, it should have a block heater. All G's sold in Ontario normally come with block heaters.

and Welcome to the forum.

Need to get it up on a hoist and dig for the cord then, 'cause I haven't seen any sign of it so far.

Thanks for the welcome.

My block heater cord was located behind the lower black grill on the drivers side. You can see it sticking out in this pic.

I grabbed my flashlight and started poking around where you said. It was more toward the middle of the car - somebody had wrapped it around another cord and it was back toward the radiator, but it's there and the block heater works when I plug it in.

Eliminated a chance for my stealer to charge me for another one...

Thanks
