Hi everyone,

I'm a 25 year old engineer in the Bay Area, and I have been lurking around the forum for a while since I got my 2005 Black Coupe back in February. It has been a great help.

I am a younger guy and new to having a nicer car, so I'm trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

Maybe an exhaust, but I haven't looked into it too much yet.

My main concern right now is SWIRLS!! I have never had a black car before and didn't realize how high maintenance it would be!

 

Congrats. The car looks good. I have a black coupe too and it really is a pain to maintain but I blacked it all out and when it is clean, it is awesome. Good luck with it.

Maybe you can relay your experiences with the swirls and how you get them out, how often, etc. I would appreciate it. I love the black color....when it's clean and nice, I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately it only stays that way a half hour haha.

 

Welcome Wes! Very nice coupe. Black is definitely a high maintenance color, but when it's clean, it's awesome.
