Hey Guys.

I'm new here, but I have been lurking for a few months while I made my decision on what car to buy.

Well I finally broke down and bought a new 2008 IP G35S Journey with the Sport, Premium and Navigation Packages (and only 8 miles on the odometer!)... I was trying to hold out for the new 2009 G37S Sedan, but the deals on the '08's were just too good to pass up.

I've tried attaching a few pictures of my new baby, but I think the files are too big, so I'll have to fin a way to reduce the file size first.

So far I'm loving the car, but I do wish I had the 7 spd auto from the 2009's. I guess you can't always get everything you want?!? LOL

Looking forward to eventually meeting some of the local SoCal members. I'm gonna try and make it to the Orange County meet on the 19th. Is this open to anyone with a G?

Also, how can I add a signature line to my profile? Sorry, I'm still a newbie here...

As for pics, go to photobucket.com and you can imbed pics into this site once you upload the pics on photobucket. Just hit the IMG button and that will copy the link and then just paste the link here. It will save u a ton of hassle resizing.

 

Thanks man! I wanted the IP from the beginning... absolutely love the color when the car is clean. I actually had trouble finding a dealer locally that had a 2008 G35S IP / Stone left on the lot, so one of the local dealers actually traded a LP G35S to get my car for me! I really wanted a G35xS with the AWD like yours, but they are virtually impossible to find down here in SoCal and not really necessary for our climate I guess.

Oh, and thanks for the advise on using photobucket.com... I'll definitely have to check that out when I get back from SEMA this weekend.

SEMA was a blast even though I only had Friday to walk the show and Friday was a short day. Still, since the show was so slow this year, I was able to walk most of it in about 5 - 6 hours on Friday. There wasn't a ton of G's there this year... it seemed to be the year of the GT-R at the show this year, but I was still able to get some nice pics... I especially took lots of pics of the wide-body G37 sedan that was in the Infiniti booth... now that is one sweet ride!

I'll try and get the pics posted sometime this week... maybe tomorrow if I get some free time.

 

All that and you didn't even contact me?

Thanks, Mike. I actually "tried" to buy from you guys. I was originally working with Chris over there at your dealer a few months back and then talked to Arnold back in October when I was ready to buy, but he couldn't get me a Sport model, so I ended up having to go to the another dealer. I will be coming to you guys, though, in the future, as I really like dealing with you guys and you are closer to me.

Also, Mike, I'd like to place an order with you for some GT-Spec parts and a couple of other items. Let me know the best way to get a hold of you.

Did you mention driver? I've been having a problem with my internet dept not passing e-mails and/or calls to me. They try to handle guys from the forums, but have absolutely no involvement in what I do here, nor do they have the same pricing/contacts I do.
