quick advice needed! Good price? 2005 G35x
Hi!
I'm negotiating for a car...2005 G35x with Nav, Premium package, in Pearl White. Price is $13250. It's in great condition, but the mileage is high at 83,000 miles for a 4 year old car. Let me know what you guys think!

honestly, it looks like the car was repainted b/c they painted the front plastic underbody guard already. i would spend a few bucks and look for something w/ lower miles which you can
do you mean to say the shop didn't know the underbody guard should not be painted white, and thus points to the fact that the front end may have been repainted?
There is actually a dent in the front bumper as well (it's hard to see in the picture, but it is there in person).
What kind of prices have you seen for '05's with less miles? Thanks for your help!

If they repainted due to a dent, and not something more serious, that wouldn't be a bad deal. Check all your body lines. Make sure they are even. That is a decent price for an 05 fully loaded. Alot of dealerships repaint the front bumpers b/c of small dings, rock chips, etc. Also when you test drive it, get to a level road and see if it has alignment issues, or if your steering wheel looks cocked. The dealer should have known better than to paint the underbody guard. If you find it has not been damaged, just repainted due to small dings/rocks, check edmunds.com for the TMV of the car. Compare it to the NADA and KBB, make sure you are getting a good deal. I wuld negotiate for the private seller amount.

I would definitely spend the money to do a carfax report on it ....better to spend little now than to find out later that in was in a incident involving the front bumper and/or frame alignment issues...just my 2cents. Good luck with your search!!!
