Is it bad to be sick of "Nice Car" already?
Today marked the 7th day of ownership of my 2006 G35 Sedan.
I'm still getting and from just about who sees me with it, and if I don't let a passenger know ahead of time what car we're walking to, they invariably go to the car beside it.
I've been saving up and driving the same car for about 10 years now (1995 Dodge Avenger) and have been waiting to pounce on a good deal on a great car.
It was down to this or a new Altima or Mazda6. I'm glad I drove those beforehand, or I'd have possibly always wonder about "what could have been" after falling in love with the G35. Having tested the waters, I can wholeheartedly say, I'd take a 2 year old, 20k miles G35 to those cars new a dozen times over.
I'm already considering some minor mods, but since this is the base model, in the entirely too unassuming Serengeti (Sleeper) Sand color, I want to make sure that it still is as quiet as can be, but still come out of nowhere and leave people scratching their heads as to what just passed them.
I'm already eyeballing the spacer and something for the intake, and probably going to shave some badging as well. I'll stick with the stock height and rims, but some sticky rubber will definitely replace the all-weather shoes it currently wears.
Any other ideas for looking as stock as possible and getting as fast as possible are welcome.

If there were a perfect solution a bit more than that, I may justify it, but there also needs to be no downtime longer than a weekend.
