Well I figured I might as well just put this out there as I'm realizing I'm going to have a hard time being patient while I wait to be able to buy a G. I posted a while back about the fact that I will be buying an 03-05 G coupe here in the next couple of months as my Sentra is coming off lease in April. Since then I've been spending a great deal of time reading this forum and doing what I'll call "research" about the G. That is just reading everything I can find about it and pretending I've already got one...

Anyway, I now know that I will be getting the vehicle, and I test drove an 03 6MT last Saturday and loved it... will probably take it out again on Monday with the gf as she wants to check it out and I would like to drive it without the salesperson along for the ride. Sure enough after deciding on the car, and then test driving it, I'm wanting to get it today... Obviously it's not something to rush into, but darn it I want it now!

One positive is that we have friends that are owners at the hometown Nissan dealership, and they are currently looking for the car for me, what with the access to the wholesale auctions and such... Helps since they're overpriced out here in the Midwest. Of course then I see the debate that such cars are/are not suitable for purchase/must be crappy b/c they got past the infiniti auction (Mike@Infiniti I believe), which I personally don't really buy into. If that's the case then a great deal of people buy a great number of crappy cars, which I'm going to choose to believe is not the case...

Anyway, I'm sure none of this makes a whole lotta sense, but I wanted to get some of the frustration off my chest while I wait to hear from the dealer. I tell him I want the car and then I expect to hear from him every day of the week, unrealistic I'm sure, but such is my nature... Anyway, being able to read all the info on here and hear about everybody's vehicles and whatnot both helps and makes me even more anxious to get my own, like yesterday!
