well I flew to Boston on Friday to pickup the G. Car is 2007 coupe with 18k miles and nav, too bad they are not sport package since they come with 17 in wheels.
my though on this coupe.

Very nice and smooth with power, but it is too slow for me with the pick up specially lag from down shift with automatics. Sorry I own E46 M3 SMG and mod Audi S4, that maybe explain why the car too under power for me. The nav GPS. OMG what the hell did they do to that thing? it almost unusable, the GPS on my phone work so much better. Maybe I need the update on the nav. GPS, but this thing won't able to locate my house or street which just build about 5 years ago. The worst part is, if I tell it to give me a shortest route, it will tell me to go into all the little small back road. I lost almost 3 hours because of that, and when I tell it to give me the fastest route, it end up giving me a longest route compare to my phone GPS. My phone GPS give me with directions and better route, for example I want to drive back from Boston to where I am, the nav. on the G give me fastest route and 1190 miles, where my phone show me the way for 980 miles. I check the version on the Nav.it show version year 05-06...maybe I need a new update. another things suck about it is, once I am driving it block out the entry for the street and address input, I guest they put there for safety reason, but should allow over drive it. The worst part is I can not put in a name of store say like Walmart or Sear from where I am at. I know there a thing call POI, but I don't want to scroll down to look for it. maybe I am still learning about this nav and have not figure out how to use it... but so far I hate that nav. GPS in the G, I had to use my phone GPS all the time to find out what I want.

the seat, what did they do to the seat ? none of the front seat back support can go all the way down so you can lay down, safety reason ? I know on the long trip in this car my passenger will bitch at me because it don't go all the way down

on the plus side, the bose system with build in XM seem to work pretty good, they pumping better then the Bose system in my Audi as well as Harman system on the bimmer, one down side to this system is no ipod connection. What Infiniti really thinking ? it a 2007 model for cry out lound. my 2005 bimmer had a preconnect for ipod

other then a few compliant here and there, the car seem to be well build and very smooth on the highway cruising speed of 120. I read about the gas miles, everyone compliant about how much gas it used, but seem like it does better gas miles then my Audi or M3

before anyone jump on me ask why I didn't test drive the car or why did I get the car if I don't like a certain things from the car. I got this car for someone special in my life, and right after I paid, sign the contract, she act up, so I may end up keeping this car and make it into a show car
