Hello everyone - Been checkin out the forums and even posted a few things so thought it was time for this..
Picked up my 2005 g35x (30k miles, $14.8k) earlier this week and have been loving it on the snowy roads here in libertyville (north of chicago). Spent a lot of time looking for a new(ish) car and Im very happy how it all worked out. Considered a6 2.7t, CTS, and TL, but they couldnt match what the g offers in luxury and performance vs. price, so more money for mods and tickets
Still stock but Ive been checking out all the mods people have done on here so i have some clear corners coming. Still gettin everything squared away as far as normal maintenance (brakes, tires, and such), and fixin up minor paint scratches/chips, so gonna be just a lil bit till I can address performance upgrades. Plan on new exhaust in the next couple months and looking into superchargers/turbos in the next year. I have 2 years of automotive schooling so planning on doin it mostly by myself.
Love the site - Nice layout, tons of useful info, and great DIYs.
Will put some pics up soon, though its nothing any of you havent seen yet

Yes, welcome new sedan owner! And your correct, the DIY's are excellent. And if it's not posted already (hard to believe), someone will know an answer to just about any question you can think up! This forum is awesome, to say the least!
