New owner of a '04 G35 AT Coupe

Hey guys

I just recently purchased a black G35 coupe It's got 55k on it, but so far its been cursed and I haven't had a full week of driving it. Drove it off the lot on Friday and the heating unit didn't work / heating display wasn't lit (was on my road test), so its at the dealership being worked on. Other then that I'm pretty happy with the car, any ideas on what I should do to it first? It looks bone stock.

congrats on the G. i dont think ur G is bone stock, those look like aftermarkers wheels. just search around and youll find answers to a lot of your questions. I know theres a lot of threads about doing first mods.

ya I think they are aftermarket wheels, not sure what kind, and i'm not sure if its worth popping off the winter tires for some summer tires. Even though my budget doesnt really allow me to spend a lot on new rims.

I was thinking of installing some 5/16'' spacers, with a mrev2. Along with a K&N filter. I think that would be a good start to my upgrades.

well the mrev2 is only made for manual Gs, but 5/16 spacer is a good start youll feel the difference in power. the k&n filter is nice too, but you might also want to look into getting a z-tube, althought the z-tube doesnt really do much in power, it will make ur car sound like a beast.
