New to this forum, looking to buy my 1st g35 coupe and have a few questions.

Heyy guys I'm looking to buy my 1st g35 coupe black on black only. I've been looking for a kind of rare car a 03 acura cl type s 6 speed nighthawk black pearl with black interior in mint condition for a few months now. All I've found is high mileage cars that's been resprayed and not in mint condition. So I decided since I always loved the looks of the g35 coupe hey why not pay a few grand more.

I remember a friend of mine telling me that the newer g35's are better something about options and more hp and tq. They are made from 03-07 right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a such thing as a type s just wondering. If so I will most likely try to look for one of those if they aren't too rare. Can any give me some tips and pointers on which models or year's to look for since I'm not to familiar with the car. I used to work at a ford dealership and still do side work at my house so I'm very mechanically inclined. I have a car lift at my house so I will be able to fully inspect the car before purchasing it. Please let me know guys thanks

No 'S' but 05-up had a sport option with 19" wheels. Nice. Some earlier ones had Brembo brakes.

You should be able to find all the other info you need on this site.

good luck and be patient. don't rush into anything by being too anxious. trust me..coming from someone who's very impulsive and extremely impatient, playing the waiting game works. i ended up waiting like 2 yrs before getting the car i wanted and i got exactly what i want for a steal. and i got my car only like two weeks ago

the 05 coupe has the updated interior
06-07 has the updated interior with projector headlights and diff tails
the sports option for the 06-07 has a nicer sportier kit, front sides, spoiler and wheels

05-07 6mt coupes are known for oil consumption issues
03-04 coupes had an option for brembos

Hey guys I haven't been on in awhile. After doing some research and from what you all told me. I've decided to only look for a 05-07 black on black 6 speed coupe I've been looking locally in this area (zip code 23325) it's rare to find one. I'm still test driving a few local ones that aren't the color combination's I want to get a feel for the car. So I can compare it to one I really want, once I find it. Hopefully I can find one before summer comes around.

Hey guy's I haven't been on here in awhile since I've been busy. I'm still looking and I'm being very patient since I'm not in a rush at all, I would like to buy something before summer. I will only get a 05+ black on black 6 speed no matter what. I'm willing to drive a few hundred miles from my zip code if I find a clean one with low miles. My price limit is 20 g's but I would definitely like to find something cheaper than that so I can start modding it haha. I will keep in touch thanks...

I haven't been on here in a long time. I never bought a g35. I purchased something else instead. The good thing is my girlfriend wants to buy a new car. She really likes the g35 so I started looking for her the past two days. It shouldn't be too hard to find one since her options are more open.

I purchased a 03 acura cl type s 6 speed black on black on March of 2011. It took me forever to find one that was oem paint, bone stock, clean, and under 100k miles but I finally did. I had it shipped from Fort Lauderdale FL. I Began modding the car immediately lol. Dyno numbers are my baseline with only a few bolt ons. I still haven't went back on the dyno yet. Here's some pictures enjoy.
