Hello from San Diego
Hello from San Diego
My name is Gregg and I will soon be buying my first G35. For the past 6 years I have owned two cars. A completely built 1999 Pontiac Trans Am (weekend toy) and my moderately built Pontiac GTO (daily driver). I sold the Trans Am about 8 months ago and have been enjoying my GTO, but decided that it is now time for something new and different.
I was looking for an automatic four door car with a responsive motor that is comfortable to drive. After being referred to the manager at a local Infiniti dealer I began browsing around and came across a certified pre owned 2006 G35 Sedan with navigation. I drove it and enjoyed everything about it. Not only am I getting a great price on it and getting a warranty, but they are also going to repaint the front and rear bumpers just because there was some typical road wear. Plan on picking it up just as soon as I sell my GTO. I am really impressed how quick the 3.5L motor is in these cars.
Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Though I've built two LS1 motors (Trans Am & GTO) I'll admit that I know nothing about Infiniti motors or import motors in general, so I'm sure I'll be on here if I ever run into anything I can't figure out.
Edit: Should I know anything about 06 Sedans before diving into this?
