hi there everybody..excited to be part of g35 driver..

just got my new 2007 g35s, love everything bout it drives great amazing engine and interior is flawless. my only concern is that it had 89,000 miles on it already. i will have my mechanic friend inspect it this weekend... any thoughts on how much more miles i will be getting out of this superb car?? anybody? thanks

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Someone posted awhile back that they had 200k on their coupe and it still runs strong. But obviously, that is with the proper care and good preventative maintenance.

should last you up to 300k but that depends on you.

07 with 89k miles... crazy.

you bought a car then you're having a mechanic look at after. shouldn't it be the other way around..lol

well enjoy it
what did you pay for it? considering all those miles

thanks for the reply guys appreciate it, well the guy i bought the car from is a good friend of mine and i can always return or exchange the car anytime i want to, he is an independent car dealer and he has all luxury cars... i looked at the carfax on this car and it only had i owner and last service was july 2010... my mechanic friend works for nissan and he only has time to do it on the weekend for me... any more thoughts guys??i think it was all highway miles, which is better than city driving right??? thanks

any advice on where to start modding? ur ride seem pretty nice and clean... open to any sugestions, but i dont want to go over board on it..can't seem to locate the auxilary outlet for the ipod, any ideas??/ thanks!

Congrats. I would check the spark plugs for oil. A lot of G's over 70k, has a had a few problems with the spark plug seal leaking oil. #6 plug would be the one to check 1st.

Yep, This affects every car after a certain amount of mileage.

The difference is, on our cars, you can't replace the seals. We have to buy 2 new valve cover @ $190 each.
