same game new tricks...

made lemonade from lemons... im coming from my350z because my 2004 Z was hit and totalled 3 weeks before christmas. lucky for me i found the four door version of it , a 2005 6mt sport sedan!

this was my Z

some locals might know me as the crazy slammed Z that just installed japanese material on my headliner

i have already put my stock Z springs and nismo shift **** on the sedan and the wheels are next after i make them fit. Z tube and plenum already ordered and much more to come. however i find this site not very informative or perhaps i am not searching right. time will tell i guess perhaps i need to give my new community some love

So far i understand Z springs drop a sedan 1" more and G coupe drops sedan 1/2" more. Most everything 03-06 sedan is interchangable is that right?

Thinking about getting 03 nismo front if i can find one made of poly. Maybe a strafe trunk to finish exterior mods. Set up suspension for autox and drift squeezing my 19x10,11 volk re30s with 235/35,255/35 tires.

Sorry to hear about your 350! But there is a section just for the sedan. Check it out. Also the vendors on here are great and have some real nice products just look carefully.

nice headliner! seriously, I like it, or should I say liked it. The G is nice and with some mods it can feel similar to your old Z.

Welcome! Post up some pics of your sedan.

And correct on the drops. My full revised Z suspension dropped my sedan roughly an inch. A lot of sedaners also go with the G/Z combo. And the 03-04 sedans are somewhat different from the 05-06 sedans, hood and bumpers are not interchangeable for example. You can't go wrong with the nismo front and strafe trunk

thanks for the bumper info...too bad an 03 nismo bumper wont work.

i will probably get coils, i was considering Z nf210's but probably wont be low enough for me. i made my own coilovers for the Z using ksport dampers and custom 8kg spring front and converted to oem style set up with 7kg springs rear. it was complicated(lots of trial and error), but the low spring rates gave me the most amazing ride quality with a 3" drop front and 3.5" drop rear.
