Talking Noobie

Hey, whats good everyone?

The name's Jay, and I currently reside in Fabulous(no homo) Las Vegas, NV.
I just bought a 07 G and I'm lovng the ride. i have been out of the mod game for a little while because i satrted a family, but now that everything is back under control, what better way to start again than with a G?? I have always loved nissan motors but never really had the money to tune them( i was a honda guy back in my highschool days). I've already strated purchasing suspension/handling components and some JDM peices, but my ultimate goal is to keep the body lines simple and clean, and make it a sleeper. I want to build up the motor while I TRY and keep it N/A( it seems alot of people are boosted, so i'm trying to do something different) i'm new to v 35s so any suggestions you may have are always welcome! And if there are any clubs or meets around las vegas/SoCal area, hit me up whenever![

-Jay

Welcome to our dysfunctional little family. Bad news though, if you want any decent power gains you'll have to go FI. Nissan did a great job tuning these motors out of the box, so bolt ons will not get you much and they're butt expensive for what you get.

However enjoy your new ride and the site, this is the premiere place on the Web for all things G.

Welcome to DRIVER and Congratulations on a very nice coupe Jay! We have a couple members in the Vegas area, click on Regional and then your area. After spending major $$ on NA upgrades and a tune about all you'll achieve is another 25 to 30 RWHP. Want more ya gotta go the FI route and possibly a total rebuild with stronger internals!
