Good day all, I'm Patrick and a owner of a '06 G35X 4 door. I haven't done a thing with the vehicle, but would like some suggestions as to wheels, tires, heck even a new color. Currently, it's white and I've often toyed with the idea of getting it painted a burnt orange. But, I know that color only looks good on certain vehicles. But, like I said, I'd like to hear of some suggestions if you don't mind.

 

Welcome to the forum my sedan brother. You don't happen to live in Austin, Tx. do you? Not many people that don't live here use the term burnt orange unless they are Longhorn fans.

Anyway I say go for it on the bo, I personally think it would look amazing on a G. Wheels are too personal a choice IMO for me to make any recommendations, just poke through some of the wheel and tire threads to find what you think looks good. A lot of us run the Hankook Ventus V12 tires, they are a great value and a really good summer high performance tire.

Thanks for the reply. At least I have a starting point with the wheels..As for rims, you're probably right in suggestion just play around and look at some of the links. As for the burnt orange, nah I'm from NY and can't stand Texas...lol..I only thought of the color because I was looking thru a magazine one day and just noticed a car in that color and thought it looked pretty good..but like I said, that color only looks good on certain cars..lol..

 

you shud lower it first! it'll change the appearance dramatically once its lower to the ground
