Finally a real car!

My name is Ryan, and I'm an addict =) I live in Oregon and I'm a machinest (can't wait to start making some custom parts).
A week ago today I picked up a 05 G35 coupe! I went with an AT mostly for the price dif, but I'm in love =) Just registered on the forum today, but I've been visiting for a while. Its the lake shore blue, tinted tails and windows. Its stock except for an AEM cold air. I've been living with a cobalt for the last couple years, so its quite the upgrade. I'm excited to join the forum, there's a wealth of info here, using search of course, and alot of experience. I'm thinking of an intake manifold for my first mod!

Go Rev-Up air box, K&N Panel Filter and Z tube instead of the AEM.. And rather then that go for a spacer first. 5/16" or 1/2" Depending on what you want out of it (midrange or top end).

Welcome to the board Ryan! And nice pickup! As a former PNW deportee, I can tell you, there is a great group of members up there! Give Joe @ Intec a buzz for your mod needs and make sure to hit up a meet and meet the club!

In for some pix!

Thanks for the response. I've done enough research here to know better than to go the cold air route, my question tho, would it be worth the $ to ditch the aem for that setup? I read the 15 page thread over on the 350z forum for the manifold and spacer that motodyne makes, and while the spacer is certainly the cheaper route I like the dyno curve for the manifold, and I'm not anywhere near ready to tackle the tuning to utilize both.
Thanks for the help and the welcome, I'll definitely be looking into local clubs and meets, I've already started to see the community the G draws together!
