If I am not mistaken those are not projector lights like the 2006-2007 model. I would personally sell those off and try to buy a pair of projector headlights OEM 2006-2007 model and paint the insides black. You might also find some used lights that have already been painted and are for sale. I don't care about the blacked out housing but to each there own.

 

are the projectors from the newer models plug and play or do they require anything else to make them work in my 05?

 

They are plug and play..though some people get new bulbs for projector housing..but yes they are plug n play
