Congrats on the purchase! White w/ black interior is a great combination.
PS-A lot of stuff slips under Carfax's radar.

PS 2- It's "Infiniti"

Welcome to DRIVER Franky, Congratulations on finding what you wanted! IP coupes are too cool and have lots of possibilities, check out our GALLERY. Did your new coupe come with any history of maintenance? All fluids need to be replaced every 30K miles and oil every 3500, it would be nice if you had that information.
Good Luck & Enjoy!
Gary

@S 854 - Yeah, that's one of the unknown variables that I'm still a little worried about. In the event I have that problem, what choices do I have with it being out of warranty?

@gary - No real history other than carfax stuff. Would have been nice to have, but I don't plan on ever getting rid of the car, so it would only be helpful for me. I'm just going to do the right thing going forward and hope everything works out for the best.

All in all, going the route I went buying from a used car dealer, out of state and stuff, was quite a negative experience. I probably will do things differently with future car purchases, but hopefully this gamble with pay off with only minor headaches.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes to everyone!

Great purchase and price! I'm curious how it's running now after you got the 500$ fix done. Did it fix your problem and is everything else running smoothly now?

You can read through this thread (sure there are others as well) & monitor your oil from here out:

The car is driving great now. No more traction control and ABS lights, no more tire destroying themselves. And, when I picked up the car, the Infiniti dealer told me it had warranty work done (at some other random Infiniti dealer) in May to...wait for it...replace the engine under the oil consumption TSB! So, my engine is less than a year old. I am enthusiastically calling this a very good purchase indeed. Thank you all for the advice and concern. Hopefully I can get some pics up this weekend.
