New guy here hailing from Ontario, Canada. I'm currently G-less, but I'm interested in getting some information on them before I buy.

I just started a new position as a salesman at an Infiniti/Nissan dealer and we recently got a 2005 Twilight Blue G35x in on trade.

The car has 161,000kms, the Bose audio system, reclining rear seats, rear A/C vents, sunroof and Homelink mirror. I want to pick it up and for $8000, I can.

Just wondering if anyone can provide input as to whether this is a good deal? Or if there's anything in particular that I need to check for that may be missed in the safety inspection?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

 

personally Id look for a car with less miles and pay a little more
I got my 03 g35 6mt premium package (brembos etc) with 65,000 for $16.9k
and there are better deals out there. Id wait... you are in a good position to
see some nice cars

 

Safety checks only check the very basics. Since you work for a dealer now, make friends with the service manager and have him give it a thorough inspection.

 

Am I reading it wrong...I think he's picking up a car for less than half what you paid...

my two loonies is it seems like a pretty good deal, but again make sure to get a full inspection of course. Ensure there aren't any hidden gremlins waiting to sink the deal

 

Well guys, I ended up buying the car. It won't be licenced until Monday but I'm so excited! I can't wait!!!
