Hi!
Hi!
Not a car newb, but a G35 newb. Figured I was growing up and couldn't invest into another STi so I went with something that was 'adult.' Just got home from a D and got an 05' Sedan with the 6mt, 49.5k, uber clean (interior looks like new and exterior has had no accidents), and $15k with a 48/48 warranty from time of buy. This car is just fun daily to me. I haven't developed a connection to it yet because it is so new to me. I had a definite connection and love for my STi because it was a track/daily car and it saved my life when my driving was outmatched by real world conditions.
So, being a searcher/lurker, I started looking at the things with this car that annoy me/needed fixed. First, I went to the local tire/wheel shop and got some 17in steelies and winter tires for $615 out the door because I live where it snows and RWD on Kumho ASX all seasons (what it came with) won't go anywhere. Second thing I'm going to do is take that fracking spring out of the clutch pedal and do the spacer mod because it annoys the frack out of me. Third, tint the fracking windows.
Fourth... try and leave it alone. Gonna be hard because I'm already just digging deeper and deeper and deeper into mods. Needs a slightly louder exhaust... And a short throw.... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.....
Oh yeah... and I think I have a bad wheel bearing but I'm not sure. Harmonic rubbing sound from front end with steering wheel vibration (very light) when at speeds of 45+ with a slight right cant on steering wheel. This part of the warranty, since it's so new, is free so I'm going to have them address it now rather than deal with something later. OCD issue but one that will only get worse.

The pics don't do justice. Imagine 49k with a meticulous owner who kept it as near to flawless as possible. Then, you have this car. No leather tears or rips or even worn looking areas.
