Noob here..any suggestions on mods?

I just bought a 2005 DG 6MT Coupe. My DD and I just want to keep it simple. I love the OEM looks on the car. Just missing the front and rear splash guards. Any suggestions on where to start on the mods? Would love to drop the car at least 1.5 inches. Not really into slamming it that much. Any inputs would be appreciated.

Z-tube to start most likely unless you go for a whole new intake. The Z-tube wont add any power but it does make a better intake sound. Considering you have the rev-up engine then you might want to look into the Motordyne MREV 2. They would be the cheaper options than exhaust. Im sure someone with a 05+ would be able to tell you something better but from what I've found out thats all I can suggest.

Nothing, just the name. You wont see any gains in performance with the Z-tube its mostly just for the intake sound. Just a heads up. If you search around a bit on here you should be able to find all kinds of info on this subject along with CAI's and just intakes.

Welcome to DRIVER

Want to lower your '05, do a SEARCH using subject "Lowering" it will take you a few hours to read thru all the threads on this subject. Keep in mind with our G35s lowering it requires a complete camber kit unless you want to buy tires at least once a year. SEARCH subject "Camber Kits!" There's a lot to learn, SEARCH is your friend rather than making threads asking questions.

Welcome to the G community! If you really want to drop the car, look into springs. What i have is the tanabe DF210 springs. Works good enough for me.

When I got mine, I installed Hankook tires, Eibach springs, Ichiba spacers and exhaust.

If want some pics for an idea, let me know.

Welcome to the site, as many have hinted, search up some of the hundreds of threads on the mod subject, and then let us refine answers for you on specific mod/questions, that will work much better for you

I'm on a budget right now. I'm really interested in the 350z Eibach Pro-kit as it gives the perfect drop. But not sure which camber kit to buy. Any suggestions on which ones to avoid? I've always learned what you get is what you paid for.

SPC camber arms for the front and rear. I'm pretty sure that you have to go with camber arms past a certain drop but could be wrong. Here again though, do some research about camber arms/kits.
