I ain't really new but uhhhh...(hella long)
Before I go any further, the pics are way down there. HowwwwwwEVER, the backstory on how I got here is way more interesting given that my car is (pretty much) bone stock. But, you got choices so if you're interested, keep reading. If not, see you at the bottom.
So, the journey to today (really a couple of weeks ago) started back in mid 05. I got back from overseas, ETS'd out of the Army after 10 solid years playing G.I. Joe, sold my 350Z, picked up a Mazda6i, got married, had a baby..well, my wife had a baby, but I helped put the lil guy in there. That was about it for a few years. I eyeballed the G35 almost IMMEDIATELY because I knew the Z was no longer practical for my current lifestyle and the G would fit that platform and give me some back seats...just in case.
Since the Mazda was paid off almost immediately, my plan was to get the G as my side car in 08/early09 cuz we had room for a payment. Well, the Mazda didn't agree with that plan as it s41t every bit of the bed. Here's what i replaced (thankfully all on Mazda's dime since it was under warranty): engine (whole damn thing), transmission (whole damn thing) tranny cables, clutch (i paid for that but 200bux wasn't bad...also threw in a short shifter cuz..why not right?), gauge cluster, dash, center stack including radio and hvac. So, after all that, Jan 28, 2009 @ 8:37am, I was rear ended by a silver Hyundai Elantra on a curvy section of highway. That sent me flying into a wall. Fortunately for me, I'm somewhat used to a sliding car and I was able to turn the car enough to not make it a head on collision at 40ish. I have pix of that somewhere but I don't know where. At any rate, I picked up my bumper, threw it in the backseat, and drove on to work (ending up throwing it at my manager after he bitched about me being late. Good times).
So, after getting that fixed, I was tired of that car and decided to get another family sedan. Baby 2 was coming. Picked up a 300C. Kept that until last November. Did this to it while I had it.

Drove it down to NC (where I'm originally from) for Chill-n-Grill in October. EFF YO ROADS PENNSYLVANIA!!!!

I hit SOMETHING in PA and dragged it till VA. tried to clean it off but then got tired of doing it so..

Had interior and stereo done in this as well...cameras for backing up and going forward...or so I told people. It was actually to lurk after clubs and stare at hot chicks without them noticing.
driving somewhere

Sooooo, yeah. Sold that for some reason (still miss it) and bought a bone stock auto 1993 240SX, a manual tranny (to swap in), and some PBM coilovers for less than the cost of a macbook pro....and an F150 Ecoboost for the family.

sold the 240 back to my buddy and sold the rest of the stuff and bought my wife a macbook pro. Yes. THAT'S how cheap that 240 was. It ran. No rust. It was just auto. Tranny cost me $50. PBM cost me $650. Think about that for a minute..cuz had I, I probably wouldn't have sold it...but had I not, I wouldn't be posting this today.
Sooooooooooooo, after looking for another 240 and finally coming to grips with how crazy stupid awesome of a deal I got with no inflated jdmbutsekz markup, I came to the realization that I could buy a G35 (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) for just a hair more than that of a non sh**^%ty 240sx...S14 anyway...which after selling that S13, I was kinda leaning towards.
Sold the truck. Bought a Maxima and...
That brings us to May 23 when I brought this pig home. Drove to Jersey to pick it up. SWEATAGAWD I was at the Jersey Shore. The two owners were J-wow'd and Vinnie'd up. Well, actually, that's harsh, cuz the chick was smoking hot. But, her husband was all super muscled, tribal tatoo'd, and gel'd hair. GREAT people though. Seriously, the car was SO much nicer than I thought. They were **** about how they kept the car and I LOOOOOVED that. This is what else was in the driveway.

That VW has a claimed 450hp. Take a ride in it and you will not doubt that claim. The Porsche has more carbon fiber than....ummm...something with a rather excessive amount of carbon fiber I guess?
The car:

cuz I was bored after I took that stuff off

and lastly

oh. My name is Brian.
you wanna know plans? ok. I'll tell you.
Stage 1: suspension (probably put it in a week or two unless I get lazy)
19 staggered wheels with +12 offsets...but on the cheap. Baller wheels will come later as I'm too impatient to save and too frugal to put'em on a credit card. I mean, summer is HERE. Who wanna wait all damn year for Works? Not me.
Stage 2: Interior do-dads. This will easily be the quickest stage as this consist of steering wheel and shift **** and install time for both is like...I don't know...1hour? lol
Stage 3: Body stuff to be done probably over this winter i.e. 06 projectors and tails. get rid of that doofy wing, polishing, emblemless grill. may toss in an exhaust in this stage as I've been thinking of something single exit...but because of stage 4, it may or may not happen cuz I'm not gonna wanna do a whole bunch of different exhausts.
Stage 4: The MONEY stage. LS2+T56+Baller Wheels
The end. Get outta here you crazy kids.
