New Owner from Canada! :D

Hello G35 forum members, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Martin, and I just recently purchased a 2005 Brilliant Silver G35 Coupe, 6 speed manual. It was actually a really good buy with only 35,000 original kilometers!

I came from a fully loaded 07' 335i coupe. Moddified her, than decided I wanted to invest in real estate, so went to buy something cheaper.

So I found a new home for my baby, than came across a mint 1999 Honda Civic Si;

And this was her after a 10 hour clean. Hand washed with 2 bucket method, clayed barred, followed by a mild and light compound polish. And finally two coats of "Worlds Best Wax"

I than decided that the civic just wasn't doing it for me. I wanted to get something that wouldn't break the bank, but was a little more enjoyable to drive than the civic. I picked her up in October, drove it for 3 weeks and put it away for the winter.

Here's the jem!

So far, I've picked up a Kenwood DNX9990HD to do a JDM double din install. I would like to get HSD coilovers, with some spacers and a Nismo Rear diffuser. No really looking to spend an arm and a leg like I did on the 335i, but always open to suggestions!

Also, on a side note, if anyone has a set of BLACK OEM rubber winter mats they are looking to get ride of, PM me!

Thank you!

I can't really give a full review on the car yet, as I only drove it for probably two weeks, got it fully detailed and put it away for the winter.

I find it's a totally different car than the BMW, which I kind of miss, but on the bright side, the Infiniti cost me less than half!

Looks like mine but much less milage.........watch your oil level, they tend to have oil consumption issues. How much did you pay, if you do not mind me asking?

Cheers!

I knew the oil consumption problem when I bought the car. The BMW has fuel pump problems and turbo problems. But when you enjoy a car enough, you can over look these things! :P

4DGS, I recognize your car. Probably saw it on the highway a couple times. If memory serves me correctly, b-vans meet is where I would have seen your car for the first time. And from what I remember, it kooked super clean!

I knew this issue as well but the car came with a supplemental warranty. In conjuction with Nissan, engine declared scrap. Now I have a rebuilt engine.

Keep in touch! What I am really severally in need of are a set of OEM Winter Rubber All Season Mats! If anyone had some, that'd be great!
