Ipad 2 In dash mod

Hi I have been on here for a while and use this site a lot. I have done an ipad 2 mod in my car a couple months ago and thought I would share with everyone. New to this so I'm trying to figure everything out how to post pics but ill give it a try and post more. I took pics of almost every steps I took, it plays and charges

Easier to upload to photobucket (as an example) and then click on image URL in that program- it auto copies then you can just paste the URL in the chat window. Easies way. Nothing against driver but considering images are a driving factor of the site- their system sucks for uploading.

I didn't take a pic but its behind the ipad, under the double din... And I did make side walls to the double din so it's not open like that anymore

you use a jdm ac controller that comes with a double din kit, it's behind the ipad. Theres not really much room to put it, either in glovebox or in navi dvd player spot .Yes it's annoying to have to take out the ipad to adjust the temp but I never touch it only time I touch it is to turn on or off the a/c. It's climate control it adjusts the temp on its own anyways , not always touching it. Small price to pay to have and ipad In the car

Only way I can think of to do that is if the climate controls could be Bluetooth somehow and have an app to contol the buttons or maybe use a remote app

I did ipad install in mine. I fiberglassed the AC controls where the factory sunglasses holder was above the rear view mirror but angled them down some so they can be easily seen and used
