New G35 driver from SoCal
Hello there. Well new driver from so cal. Purchased my 07 g in September. So far love everything about the vehicle. So far the only thing that has my concerned it how sensitive the obsidian black color is. But everything else im happy with.

Welcome to the family, we hope you enjoy your stay. And I've never heard anyone refer to paint as "sensitive" lol, but it sure is easy to mess up.
SoCal is a pretty vague location. I am in south Orange County. Welcome aboard! I love black but its just too hard for me to keep looking clean. I have the Diamond Graphite which doesn't show dust as bad.
Welcome to DRIVER and Congratulations of finding your very nice OB coupe! She looks great, what kind of issues are you having with the paint? You can go to the FORUMS area, go to Tech area then Care & Detailing for answers about our paint. Questions, use our SEARCH function! Again "Welcome and enjoy your ride!"

Thank you all.
@bluedevils95 Yes i do. So far ive got the a gialla CF grill. Future plans will be MREV 2 manifold, 5/16" plenum spacers, wheel spacers (20mm front, 25mm rear), intake, and exhaust. And im in the high desert apple valley.
@dream Yes sensative in the form of the swirls that have been created in the little time ive had it.
@kerry Funny u say that cause yes its impossible for me to keep it looking clean past the 1st day of washing it. A huge reason would be like i mentioned earlier i live in the damn desert. Where sidewalks are almost none existing. Lol
@gary thank u for the warm welcoming, yes she is quite a view. My problem is keeping her clean, removing the swirls, and prob even fixing the chips all over the front bumper.
And yes new to this forum but def not new to car forums. I came from the honda family so i had my share in the honda forums. Ill do my 100 searches before i ask around
