Yes, thank you. I did not research wheel spacers enough

I'm not worried about the money at this point. Yeah, I got taken for maybe $100, because the tires turned out to be junk. I want the best wheels for my car, in terms of reasonable strength and performance compared to stock, excellent fitment, reasonable price, and eye-catching looks (according to my totally subjective opinion). The G37s fit all of those criteria. However, the G37 wheels with tires would have saved me a few hundred dollars and be easy to re-sell. That was my motivation for buying them. Now that I have gotten a little screwed for $100, they are not the great deal that they were supposed to be. So... I am re-evaluating my direction. I would still be saving money by fitting them to my car. The question is, is that enough money to warrant the slight stylistic compromise compared to buying the Concept One wheels. Yeah, I know, only I can really make that decision. I am wondering, though, is there an objective benefit of going with the aftermarket wheels? Or maybe a drawback? I'm looking for specs on the Concept One wheels now.

Another thought was to just use the G37 wheels on my car without spacers. That would look decent, if not ideal.

After market wheels generally weigh more than OE wheels unless you buy high end wheels that cost $1K each. The G37 wheels look good, put them together with some new tires. If they have rash on a couple find a recommended wheel repair shop in your area to fix em. Cost shouldn't be too bad if it's just rash....$50 each? You should be asking the seller for some $$ back since he told you tires were good....lied!

As far as the brakes go the 03 and 04 have the best factory 05+ is the worst for sedans
03/04 have the smallest brakes... It's a single piston front and rear with 11.7"x.9" front rotors.

05+ uses a 2 piston front caliper with 12.6"x1.1" front rotors. The rear is the same caliper as the 03/04 but with a different bracket and larger rotors.

Brembo is 12.8" front.

All 3 stop in very similar distances, the difference comes from repeated hard braking and fade resistance. The 03/04 fade out very quickly and braking performance drops off sharply. The 05+ and Brembo are fairly similar in fade resistance as the rotors have much more thermal capacity. The brake pads is much larger too which promotes more even pad wear.

At around 27.5 pounds the OEM G37 wheels are no lightweights. It's pretty easy to go lighter than that. Enkei RPF1 in 18x10 are nearly 10 pounds lighter and can be had for a grand for all 4 brand new.

Used Volks, Rays, etc often come up for under 2 grand used for all four.

Any updates? I really have no idea why you would roll your fenders when they didn't need them..You are adding more gap between Fender and tire.. Im sure your drop looks less noticeable until you get some more aggressive wheels now..

Rolling the inner lip of the fender does not increase wheel gap.
