New Girl Here :)
Hello everyone,
My names Magen I will be a soon to be proud owner of a 2006 or 2007 g35 coupe in august for my 21st bday. I am so excited because I am just in love with the g35 :P
I have had some pretty nice sports cars these past couple of years my very first car was my baby it was an 04 black Hyundai tiburon, which I traded a few months ago for a 2001 celica gts. Sadly my celica blew up on me so come august I'll be getting my newest baby can't wait!!!
I hope I get some great help from you all on here as I did the other forums I have joined thanks.

Thanks everyone I will. An I'm wanting to learn to drive a manual so I'm debating on getting one but not for sure yet. An as for color I'm either going with black, bright red, or white just can't decide what would look better ? I'm going to be putting the gt-r body kit on it an that's why I'm having trouble with what color haha

I have to say, as learning to drive a stick, probably want to start off on the G with automatic, I don't think it's very conductive to learning to drive a stick, I could be wrong, and other G owners can chime in, but it's best to learn to drive on another beater or something, before getting a 5 speed..... I say this as I learned to drive on a Hyuandi Scoop, i beat the tar out of it, before I got the hang of it, and the next vehicle I purchased was a 5 speed and was much smoother having learned how to drive one

Welcome! You've made a great choice getting the G I do have to agree with what Phil said though. If you don't know how to drive manual yet, it's best to learn on a crappy car (if you're teaching yourself), or see if you have a buddy that drives stick who can teach you. I've always wanted to drive a stick car, but no one was able to teach me and I didn't have any cars I could practice or self-teach with lol. So I'm here stuck with the 5AT but it's all good! It's still super fun to drive (although some of the hard-core MT drivers on here will probably say that driving manual is way more fun. They're probably right) and the AT's come with manual shiftability as well. My advice is that if you plan on learning manual with your new G.... don't do it. Do it with something you won't be afraid to mess up!
And as far as the GTR kit goes, I don't like it either and I also think there's other kits that look better. But it's all personal preference! If you like it then go for it! It's your car and your money. Do what you want with it and screw the haters!
