Cool Yay!, Now i got the G (fr. Illinois NW Suburb)

Greetings to all,

New member here , Just got my G35 Coupe (base) Desert Plat. 5A/M, And let me tell you, what an amazing car . Used to own a 2000 BMW 540i 6MT but she has to go due to a high millage on the car (168,xxx). I will absolutely miss my Bimmer, but she is getting expensive to maintain Versus the worth of my bimmer.

I have few plans with Mr.G, and the 1st mode that i want to do is find a trusted local Mechanic around my area & do either Maint. 1 or 2. Mr.G has 80,xxx on the clock & not sure if the previous owner did all the proper maintenance. The car is Mint, little scratches here & there but unnoticeable, Change the wheels to a 18" Stock that came from Sport package if i'm not mistaken (i like the stock look), and maybe lower the car a little just like the Sport package and the lower Front bumber lip.

Please be gentle with me if i may have some questions about this car, but don't worry, i will try my best to find it in search field and maybe it's already been covered. .

Y'all have a wonderful evening

J.T.

Welcome to the community.

Some things for you, when searching for stuff make sure to click advanced searches and then select thread title only... Sort by relevancy this will help you find stuff so much faster.

Great to hear your going to get everything checked out before getting on the mod train. Know that if you like to drive the car like a normal person lowering the car will only put you at risk to majorly damaging the vehicle, but it's your decision. I am at stock height and usually scrape my driveway once a week when not paying attention (5 in curb) at idle.

I would recommend a nice wash and detail if you have the time... Or 400$ to get the beautiful paint back at a local detail shop.

I hope you find what you are looking for here, and you should definitely check out the local infiniti regional club you belong to for events and other great things! I really love to see a nice project come together, just please don't junk up your very nice car with cheap auto zone and Walmart parts .
