Recent proud G owner and forum newbie

Newbie checking in from Charlotte, NC...

I bought my G late in late January of this year...couldn't be happier with my choice. I've been creeping on the forum for a few months now but decided it was time to make this relationship official.

Basically stock but came with clear corners and I believe the Z-Tube/Pop Charger. The only mod I've done is replace all interior lights with super bright white LED's.

I haven't taken the time to do any photo shoots but I've attached one I had on my phone from the day I test drove it.

Anyways, I just wanted to formally introduce myself to the forum. Let me know if you guys have any questions about the car or suggestions for improvements. Keep it G!

-A.J.

It's funny you ask...I was heading to Cracker Barrel that morning and pulled up beside a heavily modded S2k with neon green wheels at the light out front of Lowes Motor Speedway. I thought it was odd when he/she pulled off to go to Zmax Dragstrip...who goes to the strip when it is raining?

But I had no clue about the meet. Looks like a big turnout given the bad weather...I'm guessing you went? See any fellow G brethren?

$13.5k with 50k miles for an 03/04, that's a lot of low mileage car for that money. Did they budge off that price at all?

You already know!!! Those 2 things are on the top of my to-do list. The '06 heads seem to be a popular move amongst the 03-04 owners so I already know they are tough to come across. I haven't done any serious hunting but the only ones I came across were on eBay and $900 buy it now.

As far as lowering goes, it may be a while before I accomplish that. What's your setup/drop? Any recommendations?

My thoughts exactly! I was able to get them down to $13k so after tax, title, tags it came out a little over $13,600. I settled on color and wheels but you cant beat that for an '03 with only 50k.

Thanks for the love guys...

You can find a set of used projectors in good condition in the private classifieds if you're lucky. In fact I think there is still a set still for sale: https://g35driver.com/forums/lights/...rojectors.html

But keep looking and when the time is right you will find a good set for cheap!

Thanks for the link! It looks like the classifieds will be my best bet. In the meantime I gotta find a good lens cleaner to get rid of the cloudy look my current headlamps are rockin.
